Entrepreneurship is a weird thing

Entrepreneurship is a weird thing… It’s like you’re seeing into the future.  Most especially for certain ventures more so than others.  For instance, when one is trying to invent something new… you have to almost live in a world where that object exists, and sell it to people who live in a world where it doesn’t.  This is something that isn’t talked about much in entrepreneurship.  Maybe I am experiencing it more because I am alone — who knows.

But the fact remains, it’s weird as heck to be a visionary… moreover, to act on that vision — because you end up living a life in the future amongst people who live without that innovation.  This is particularly sad when it comes to innovation in healthcare — which makes me wonder time and time again how people in the industry, who know of this innovation, can live with biting their tongues and going straight for the money (and not educating people).  But, I guess it’s a gradual realization that these people come to, and they end up being desensitized to others’ strife.
